Arrow Bookbinding is now holding Beginner’s Bookbinding Workshops, in which participants learn how to make a hardback notebook, which is theirs to keep.
Beginner’s Bookbinding Workshops, at The Moor Imagination Collective (MiC) in Buckfastleigh, Devon are taking place on the following days:

Four-Week Beginner’s Bookbinding Course
For those you’d like to learn more about bookbinding Arrow Bookbinding is also offering a Four-Week Beginner’s Bookbinding Course.
The first course is tol begin in April 2025 and shall comprising of x4 four-hour sessions. During the course you'll learn about the Craft & Design skills of bookbinding with the founder of Arrow Bookbinding, Samuel Arrow.
With only two places available on the course you'll receive a high level of tailored bookbinding tuition.
The day of the week the course runs on shall be decided to best suit the two attendees schedule (offered Monday-Saturday).
What You'll Learn
>During sessions 1&2 you'll learn how to create your own bespoke hard-backed sketch/notebook, using traditional bookbinding techniques, which can include embossing a title to your books cover.
>In sessions 3 you'll learn about traditional Japanese-style bindings and create several soft-cover bindings.
>During sessions 4 you'll learn about some of the bookbinding techniques used to repair damaged, antiquarian books (If you have a book that needs repairing you're welcome to bring this with you, otherwise books shall be supplied)
>You'll also be offered help and advice in acquiring tools, equipment and materials.
The course fee is inclusive of all materials. Light refreshments (tea/coffee) are also provided with compliments.
